Stormy Daniels hosting abortion rights ‘swamp trash block party’

Stormy Daniels is set to host a “swamp trash block party” with jello shots and a silent auction to benefit an abortion rights group in New Orleans on Sunday.

Daniels, a Louisiana native and porn star who gained notoriety for claiming to have had an affair with President Trump, will throw the party at two bars in New Orleans, according to the Times-Picayune. The event will feature specialty cocktails, astrology readings and a silent auction with a new art piece by mixed-media artist Louis St. Lewis, according to the invitation. Funds raised by the block party will go to support the New Orleans Abortion Fund.

“Last month, Louisiana joined a handful of states across the country in passing a near total ban on abortion. If upheld in court, the new law will be devastating for Louisiana women, particularly those without the resources to seek medical care out of state,” said the Facebook invitation, which featured a cartoon of Daniels holding a lighting rod. “Well…..not on Stormy’s watch!”

Daniels entered the national spotlight after the 2016 election, when news emerged that Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen had paid her $ 130,000 to keep quiet about an alleged 2006 affair with Trump.

She later sued Trump over the agreement with help from her lawyer Michael Avenatti. Avenatti was dismissed in March, and he has since been indicted by the Department of Justice for allegedly trying to extort $ 25 million from Nike and stealing $ 300,000 from Daniels when she was his client.

Daniels also took a swipe at departing White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Friday. In response to a Twitter post that said Sanders wanted to be remembered as “transparent and honest,” Daniels wrote, “And I hope to be remembered for being a virgin **eye roll**.”
